The Red Fruit Moon is alive at 236 million!

According to data released by QuestMobile, the red fruit drama has reached 236 million in September, an increase of 95 per cent over the previous year and 51.8 million from the hippo theatre, a 100 per cent increase over the same period.

The monthly active users of the short video APP industry have reached 1,129 million, with an active penetration rate of nearly 90 per cent.

With 936 million tremors, continuous lead, 458 million fast hands, the industry is the second most stable, with a “head concentration, mid-tail pressure” pattern.

The online video industry remains highly active, driven by a combination of summer effects and short play content heat, with users using more than 20 hours per month per user.

The hot short play APP disturbs the online video industry, with 23.6 million per month for a free red fruit short show, and goes to Top4, first. The number of active users of the hippo theatre has exceeded 50 million per month.

Short play is breaking the circle, with 31-50 years of age being the main audience for short play, and more young users under 30 years of age and first- and second-line urban users increasingly interested in short play.

QuestMobile data show that, as of September 2025, the number of active users of the free tomato novels AP-month was 245 million, an increase of 11.4 per cent over the same period, and the number of active users of the free tomato novels per month continued to lead the digital reading industry, with the number of active tomatoes-list and seven cats-free AP-month novels reaching 95.6 million and 76.56 million, respectively.

According to QuestMobile data, in September 2025, the number of users of free tomato novels under the shivering flag and free short dramas with red fruit was 87.26 million, an increase of 80.3 per cent over the same period, indicating that the “read-see” closed loop was being formed; at the same time, the number of users of the seven cat dramas had been growing steadily since they had been online.
